Club Update Feb '25

Exciting Times Ahead at the Club!

• Main Hall Renovation: Our maintenance team + volunteers are refreshing the main hall. Phase 1 (painting and electrics) is complete, and Phase 2 (flooring replacement) is next. The snooker room will follow, receiving a much-needed spruce up.

• Spring Preparations: As spring approaches and the weather turns milder, we plan to steam-clean the patio to make it safe and pleasant for relaxing and watching bowls.

Decluttering fanatics, paintbrush-wielding loonies or enthusiastic amateurs welcome are of course, MOST WELCOME to help out 😊

Upcoming Events & Updates

• Bowls Club Timetable: The 2025 timetable will be published and sent out in March. Keep an eye out also on the club website for updates.

  
  

  May 29th: Mark your calendars. The hall will host a company called ‘Vintage & Collectibles’ from 10:30 to 16:00. For anyone curious about the value of that thing in the drawer that might be a chunk of glass, or the twin of the Kohinoor diamond, the doors open at 10:30.
